Beth Ditto, het is even stil geweest rondom de excentrieke ex-frontvrouw van (The) Gossip. Maar, na haar EP uit 2011 komt ze deze zomer met een volledig album genaamd ‘Fake Sugar’. Het startschot van haar tour geeft Ditto met de nieuwe single ‘Fire’, een rauwe combinatie van blues en rock met de kenmerkende Ditto “attitude”. BBC Radio 1 bombardeerde de track al tot “Hottest Record in the World”. Naast stijlicoon, designer en frontvrouw nu dus ook volwaardig solo artiest.

Het debuutalbum ‘Fake Sugar’ verschijnt op 16 juni.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
