Als afsluiting van de jubileum tentoonstelling ‘Gerrit turns 50, Willem only 28’ lanceren de Gerrit Rietveld academie en het Sandberg Instituut een feest in Paradiso. Waar de tentoonstelling terugblikt, zal dit feestelijke event juist het NU vieren met de sway of today. Alle afdelingen van beide onderwijsinstituten zijn vertegenwoordigd met muziek, performances, acties, projecties en interventies.

De afdeling VAV – moving image die 40 jaar is geworden nam het initiatief voor dit feest dat mogelijk is gemaakt door de directie van de Gerrit Rietveld Academie en het Sandberg Instituut. Met veel dank aan alle studenten, deelnemers, alumni, docenten, staf, producenten, vrijwilligers en Paradiso.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
