Avi Buffalo is de band van Avigdor Zahner-Isenberg,
singer-songwriter en gitarist uit Long-Beach, Californië. Met een paar
gelijkgestemde vrienden begon Avi vrijblijvend een bandje. Dat werd allemaal
anders nadat Sub Pop de band bij toeval ontdekte en in 2010 het bejubelde
debuutalbum uitbracht. Avi werd geprezen om zijn virtuoze liedjes die de
melancholieke folk van bijvoorbeeld Neil Young combineert met de luchtigheid
van bands als The Beach Boys. Nu is er het tweede album ‘At Best Cuckold’.
