Ze begon als kindactrice op het Londense West End en verscheen later in films en series, maar vond haar eigen stem pas echt in de muziek. Naast verhalen van anderen schreef en zong ze altijd haar eigen liedjes, die eerder dit jaar uitkwamen op debuut-EP 'Untie My Tongue'. Het zijn intieme popsongs vol eerlijkheid en emotie, waarmee ze zich ontwikkelde van beloftevolle actrice tot veelzijdig artiest. Sindsdien brengt ze nieuwe singles uit die haar geluid verder vormgeven. Volgend jaar zal Asha Banks voor het eerst live te horen zijn in Nederland, waar ieder kennis zal maken met een stem die zowel fris en verrassend als vertrouwd voelt.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
