Het uit New York afkomstige duo Armand Hammer bestaat uit artrap-pioniers billy woods en ELUCID. Ze staan bekend om hun experimentele productiestijlen, complexe rijmschema's en dubbele metaforen, waarbij ze onderwerpen variërend van armoede tot filosofie aansnijden. Naast hun solocarrières brachten ze onder Armand Hammer drie albums uit: 'Rome' (2017), 'Paraffin' (2018) en meest recentelijk 'Haram' (2021). Alle drie de projecten werden met lof ontvangen door critici.

In tegenstelling tot op het volledig door The Alchemist geproduceerde 'Haram', bevat het opkomende album van Armand Hammer, 'We Buy Diabetic Test Strips', live-instrumentatie en een scala aan producers (waaronder JPEGMAFIA). Armand Hammer blijft op het project echter wel trouw aan de sonische identiteit die ze met succes hebben opgebouwd sinds hun debuut, en nodigen zowel bekende als nieuwe gezichten uit, zoals Pink Siifu en Junglepussy.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
