De Zweedse singer-songwriter Anna Ternheim staat bekend om haar tijdloze, ingetogen liedjes. Debuutalbum ‘Somebody Outside’ uit 2004 sloeg in haar thuisland in als een bom en sleepte verschillende prijzen in de wacht. Haar zwoele, stemmige muziek refereert veelvuldig aan traditionele folk en Amerikaanse rootsmuziek, zonder dat de kenmerkende Scandinavische toon ondersneeuwt. In 2025 bracht ze 'Psalmer från sjunde himlen' uit, waarmee ze haar muzikale veelzijdigheid opnieuw bevestigde. Ternheim staat bekend om haar sfeervolle optredens en heeft wereldwijd een toegewijde fanbase opgebouwd.
