Altopalo is een vierkoppige band uit Brooklyn, NY. De muzikanten hebben verschillende achtergronden: zo was gitarist Mike Haldeman deel van Moses Sumney’s band, en heeft zanger Rahm Silverglade eerder materiaal uitgebracht op Terrible Records, ooit de thuisbasis van Grizzly Bear en Solange. In dit nog redelijk jonge project bundelen de muzikanten nu hun krachten en hebben ze dit om weten te zetten in twee experimentele intieme albums. Swingende baslijnen in de verte en verrassende ritmes worden afgewisseld door stiltes die de luisteraar steeds meer meetrekken in hun elektronische r&b.

How to get to Cinetol
Cinetol is on Tolstraat 182 in the South of Amsterdam. The closest tram stop is Lutmastraat. There is also a nice restaurant in the building where you can have dinner before the show. Cinetol only accepts card payment, no cash.
