Deze Amsterdamse band met een Turks-Nederlandse achtergrond veroverd de wereld met een onuitwisbare fusie. De band combineert psychedelische rock, deep funk, synthpop, kosmische reggae en meer met de rijke en diverse tradities van Anatolische en Turkse volksmuziek. Komend voorjaar komt het nieuwe album ‘Garip’ uit, waarmee een nieuw hoofdstuk in hun muzikale reis wordt ingeluid. Het markeert een terugkeer naar de Anatolische folkrockgevoeligheid van de jaren 70 en is een eerbetoon aan de overleden componist Neşet Ertaş.

Naga Kirana brengt een verfrissende mix van Indonesisch geïnspireerde melodieën en analoge synthesizer klanken. Zangeres Inda Duran vertaalt de speelsheid en mystiek van het alledaagse naar catchy Indonesische zang, in een samenspel met pulserende analoge grooves en hypnotiserende synthlagen.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
