Algiers uit Atlanta, Georgia bracht als trio in 2015 hun titelloze debuutalbum uit op het gerenommeerde Matador Records, waarmee ze direct met labelgenoten Interpol op tournee gingen. De genres die deze band aantikt, zijn niet op twee handen te tellen. Het is post-punk, bij vlagen psychedelisch en industrieel, maar zit ook vol soul en blues. Inmiddels zijn ze gegroeid tot een kwartet met een tweede album, 'The Underside of Power', op zak.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
