Adia Victoria is zeer Christelijk opgevoed in Spartanburg, South Carolina en vond later de blues in Nashville, Tennessee. Het ene moment zingt ze haar eigenzinnige songteksten met een snik en het andere moment is ze fel en swingen haar nummers de pan uit. Naast blues heeft haar muziek trekjes van rock, afro punk, folk en country. Debuutalbum ‘Beyond the Bloodhounds’ verscheen in 2016 en sindsdien heeft ze haar plek in de southern gothic-wereld veroverd. De onlangs uitgebrachte single 'Dope Queen Blues' is in samenwerking met The National's Aaron Dressner gemaakt en belooft veel goeds voor wat nog komen gaat.

How to get to Cinetol

Cinetol is on Tolstraat 182 in the South of Amsterdam. The closest tram stop is Lutmastraat. There is also a nice restaurant in the building where you can have dinner before the show. Cinetol only accepts card payment, no cash.
