Op zondag 24 april staat Aafke Romeijn in Paradiso. De multi-getalenteerde artiest uit Utrecht is naast zangeres, muzikant en songschrijver ook auteur, columnist en een bekende Twitter-persoonlijkheid. Haar laatste album 'Godzilla' was een muzikale vertaling van de dichtbundel 'Leegstand'. Een Nederlandstalig artpop-album die taboes over zware periodes doorbreekt, spreekt over de troost die hoge gebouwen in dichtbevolkte steden bieden en over Godzilla, het monster uit de bekende Japanse film. Godzilla volgde na het goed ontvangen album ‘M’ uit 2019. Aafke combineert een eclectische sound met een taalgevoel waar je u tegen zegt.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
