The third weekend of May will be Will And The People weekend in Amsterdam: on Thursday May 16, Friday May 17 and Saturday May 18 the cheerful British lads play at Cinetol three days in a row.


Will And The People was founded in 2010 and plays a cheerful mix of ska and reggae. The four-piece consists of singer Will Rendle, drummer Charlie Harman, keyboard player Jim Ralphs and bass guitarist Jamie Rendle, who met at the Glastonbury festival.

In 2012 the guys, who all live in the London area, scored one of the biggest hits of the year with their massive single "Lion In The Morning Sun". Their second single 'Salamander' also did very well in the Dutch charts.

Over the years, the band has played major festivals such as Lowlands, Pinkpop, Paaspop, Zwarte Cross and Appelpop and is known for their energetic live performances.

This May, Will and the People will spend three days in a row at Cinetol. On Thursday and Friday, the band plays in the evening, Saturday is a matinee performance that starts at 3 p.m. 

Ticket sales for all three shows will start on Thursday, April 11 at 09:00 a.m.
