Zonneprijs

After three successful editions, which saw hip-hop artist Elmer, shoegaze band Hiqpy, and freak punk act BUG triumph, Indiestad is organizing a brand-new edition of Zonneprijs. The musical talent competition will start again in October 2025 at 't Zonnehuis in Amsterdam Noord. There, aspiring artists can participate in the preliminary rounds, which take place every first Thursday of the month. From these preliminary rounds, a selection of eight finalists will be made for the final, which will take place in June 2026 at Paradiso. The winner of the Zonneprijs will receive a cash prize of no less than 10,000 euros. In addition to the traditional final, all finalists will be given a spot in the programming of Paradiso or one of its affiliated venues.
