This night is all about those infectious indie, new wave, post-punk, and electronic beats that defined a generation of sleepless nights. Expect a playlist packed with bangers from Crystal Castles, LCD Soundsystem, Soulwax, and The Rapture, plus a dash of Le Tigre, Justice, and Daft Punk for good measure.

Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the Blog House era or just curious about what all the fuss was about, indiesleaze is your ticket to a time when skinny jeans and neon ruled the world. So dust off your dancing shoes, leave your inhibitions at the door, and get ready to sweat it out like it’s 2007 all over again.

We're back at Paradiso for a full blown night of indiesleaze, and it's Halloween, baby. Because what's scarier thann hangxiety? We've got a stacked line-up for ya: Live sets come from UK troublemakers Getdown Services, Welly and Courting, bringing their raw energy and tongue-in-cheek attitude to the stage. Once the bands are done, Charlie Avalon takes over with a DJ set stacked with indie bangers and twisted club cuts. And yes, it’s Halloween. Costumes are not optional.

On November 21, INDIESLEAZE returns to Belgium. And honestly, it feels like coming home. From the first beat, it was an instant love connection. WHAT IS INDIESLEAZE?

Indiesleaze isn’t just a music genre—it’s a lifestyle. Born from the chaotic energy of the 2000s, it’s the sound of messy hair, smudged eyeliner, and afterparties that never seemed to end. Think of it as the lovechild of gritty indie rock and electroclash, raised on a steady diet of MySpace and Vice Magazine. The music? Raw, rebellious, and unapologetically loud, with bands like The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, and Crystal Castles leading the charge. It’s that perfect blend of sweaty basement gigs and glitter-strewn dance floors, where synths clash with guitars, and everyone’s too cool to care. Indiesleaze is about embracing imperfections, revelling in hedonism, and always keeping one foot firmly in the underground. It’s not polished, but that’s exactly the point. So, throw on your skinnies, crank up the volume, and let the sleaze take over.

DESIGN

The indiesleaze branding comes courtesy of Utrecht-based designer Tom van Osch, who drew inspiration straight from his own music collection—think gritty electronic beats and retro synthesizers. But Tom didn’t stop there; he mixed in a healthy dose of modern motion design and a nod to concert and party posters from the 00s. The result? A look that’s as raw and electrifying as the music itself, perfectly capturing the spirit of indiesleaze. 

HISTORY OF THE CLUB NIGHT

DJ duo Charlie Avalon, who met at Paradiso in Amsterdam, created indiesleaze out of sheer frustration—no one in Amsterdam was spinning the tracks they loved. United by their passion for that sweet spot where electronic music meets indie, they launched a night to fill the gap. Indiesleaze isn’t just a nostalgic trip; it’s a celebration of both the old and the new, blending electronic dance beats with a punk and indie edge, where the spirit of the past collides with the sound of today. It’s the night they always wanted—and now it’s yours too.
