May 18, 2025 • OSEES by Job van Rijen
Poster for the concert by American band OSEES at Paradiso on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Led by manic frontman John Dwyer, OSEES has released countless records since forming in 1997. Their sound, featuring guitars, synths, and not one but two drummers, blends psychedelic music with garage rock. This aesthetic was the inspiration for the poster designed by illustrator Job van Rijen.

May 16, 2025 • Buena Vista Orchestra by Bas Steens
The Buena Vista Orchestra is a continuation of the world-renowned Buena Vista Social Club. With roots in Havana, the original group brought traditional Cuban music to an international audience. For the show at Paradiso, originally scheduled for May 16, 2025, but now moved to 2026, designer Bas Steens created a colorful poster. He draws inspiration from all things mysterious, whether it’s a place or landscape like the desert, or mythical stories and symbols.

April 14, 2025 • Fat Dog by Roos Bakx
Illustrator Roos Bakx created this poster for the concert by London band Fat Dog on April 14 in Paradiso’s Main Hall. Fat Dog sounds like a mix of krautrock, punk, ska, and electronic music. Roos Bakx’s work is inspired by the pop culture of her youth, creating unique worlds and characters that come to life in her art.

April 5, 2025 • Snapped Ankles by Joost Rutten
Poster for the concert of the London-based band Snapped Ankles at Tolhuistuin on Saturday, April 5, 2025. The band blends krautrock and post-punk influences with electronic rhythms and is known for its surreal visual style. This aesthetic served as inspiration for the poster designed by visual artist Joost Rutten for the band.
