Stained-glass windows at Paradiso

The stained-glass windows in our Main Hall have been designed by artists Berend Strik and Hans van Houwelingen. They called this project "The Modern Morale" and gave each window its own theme, ranging from Creation and Love to Work, Nature and Death.
The Modern Morale
The windows reflect society's developments requiring us to make new moral choices. The role of women in society, gay rights or cloning: if you watch carefully, you'll find them somewhere in our windows!
The original stained-glass windows were removed in the 1970s. They dated from the days our building was used as a church and depicted thinkers like Socrates, Dante, Spinoza and Goethe. In 1993, the idea was formed to create new glass windows specifically for our building, and that how "The Modern Morale" came to be.
