We're excited to announce the first edition of ginger. In collaboration with Friendly Fire, Paradiso and various local communities and sound systems we are launching a new festival promising a fusion of afro sounds to ignite your soul. On Sunday, June 30th, 2024 ginger festival will take over the garden of Parallel from 7p.m-7a.m. A celebration of African culture with performances, club nights, workshops and food in the garden. SadBoi, Musa Keys, Young Dada and more will perform.

How to get to Parallel
Parallel is located at Buiksloterweg 5C in Amsterdam North, at the rear end of the Tolhuistuin building. To get there, catch one of the free ferries departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Upon crossing the IJ river, take an immediate left and cross the Volewijck bridge. Turn right and continue walking until you reach Overhoeksplein. Here, you will find the Galgenveld bridge to your right. Crossing it, you will find the Tolhuistuin archway and Parallel’s entrance.
